Job Description

A Lennox IT intern role may include participation in:

  • Enterprise IT solutions design and development – applications, databases, infrastructure

  • Evaluation of new technology

  • Operations initiatives and support of enterprise IT solutions

  • Analysis of business data and processes

  • Managing a project

Technical Requirements

  • Coursework and/or demonstrated interest in one or more of the following:

  • eCommerce, web, and mobile technology

  • Augmented / virtual reality

  • Business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning

  • Cloud computing concepts (virtualization and software defined infrastructure)

  • Internet of Things – connected devices

  • IT infrastructure design and management (storage, compute, and network)

  • Cyber Security concepts

  • Social collaboration

  • Supply Chain & Manufacturing

  • Demonstrate an interest in learning formal IT development and support practices and methodologies

  • Proficient use of PC applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Basic programming and analysis skills

Teaming/Soft Skills

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent collaboration and teaming skills

  • Ability to quickly learn and contribute to IT initiatives

  • Self-driven, results oriented

Qualifications

  • BS or MS student in Computer Science, IT or MIS academic program at an accredited four year University, with min 3.0 GPA.

  • Educational or vocational experience in project management and software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
