Under general direction, the Supply Chain Analyst will measure, analyze and directly impacts supply chain operations, including logistics, procurement, and inventory management of materials.
Makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of Supply Chain.
Works closely with functions across the supply chain including Sourcing, Production, Scheduling, Materials, Engineering, Engineering, Finance, Sales and Upper Management.
Analyzes raw material plans and models supply based scenarios.
Calculates safety stock and optimizes including advanced statistical functions. Assists in Vendor Managed Inventory Programs.
Supports the Plan For Every Part (PFEP) Kanban-based replenishment strategy through loop calculations and analytics.
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires at least 5 years related experience.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills inclusive of SAP. Expert in logistics and production planning concepts (e.g., just-in-time, pull)
Broad range of computer skills—database, spreadsheet, statistics applications, and logistics software packages; understand contracts.
Requires detailed knowledge of supply chain best practices and barriers to implementation.
Demonstrates strong financial acumen and understanding of the value chain.
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to investigate problems, finds root causes, and develops solutions.
