Safely and efficiently operate sheet metal equipment, either a cell of equipment, FMS or AFS as assigned. Must read and interpret instructions and diagrams, effectively apply math skills, experience, training, and communication skills to monitor, control, and manage tooling and product.
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 1 year related experience.
Requires understanding of basic program concepts and computer literacy. Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance. Must be able to read, write and perform fractional math calculations and measure both linear and angular attributes. Must know how to read blueprints and be able to read and interpret shop orders, diagrams and equipment instructions. Frequently moves objects up to 50 pounds.
