Job Description

Under general direction, performs complex activities relating to systems software engineering for embedded system, electronic components and control systems.

Handles complex aspects of design, development and integration of embedded software components and applications. Has technical responsibility for planning, organizing and conducting technical projects or phases of projects involving design and development. Coordinates the efforts of engineering support staff. Designs and develops Windows Software applications. Implements software components based on applicable specifications and design. May provide work direction to less experienced engineers.

  • Seeking experienced LABVIEW / SQL / .NET Developer with metrology background to enhance existing sophisticated Instrument-Driver, Calibration, and associated applications.

  • These applications form the critical foundational data that feed into other HVAC certification testing applications.

  • 5 years of experience in LABVIEW and Instrumentation Driver development as well as solid MS SQL skills (Administration, TSQL, Schema development, etc.) and a precision mindset with a solid understanding of Measurement Uncertainty are all required.

  • Solid understanding of Mathematics and Statistics are required.

  • Ability to convey both complete configuration information and data with precision is required.

  • Multi-System Software development experience as well as 17025 / Calibration Software Development experience and backgrounds in both Computer Science and Engineering are all desirable.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 5 years related experience.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Strong expertise in software coding, software design, integration, simulation, communication protocols. Familiar with software development tools. Able to coordinate and direct the work of teams.
